The Meanings and Blessings of Family Work

I really do believe that working together as a family can be rewarding and build family relations. From the family proclamation we are taught that,
" successful families are built on wholesome recreational activities."
 Growing up my family rarely did things together but I can remember all the times we did. Each time we did something together it made me feel so happy and close with my family. Whether it was going to the beach together or doing something as simple as yard work together on a Saturday morning, I loved it! I loved it because I was able to spend time with those that I love.
The Blessings of Family Work

In my own family life my husband and I don’t have children yet, but we still notice our relationships being built as we do things together. I want to make sure that I do things with my future family and make tons of memories. Whether it's going somewhere together or doing family chores together I want my children to know that we can do those things together and that it can be fun and rewarding.

Man & Woman

Something I have really been thinking about this week has been what marriage means to me. Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints I know that marriage is between a man and a woman. The Family: A Proclamation to the World says, " THE FAMILY  is ordained of God. Marriage between man and woman is essential to His eternal plan. Children are entitled to birth within the bonds of matrimony, and to be reared by a father and a mother who honor marital vows with complete fidelity." With the redefining o f marriage it can be hard to stand on the side where marriage should remain between a man and a woman. Although I love those that choose to live differently than I believe I will not accept and see it the same way that they see it. I personally have several LDS friends who have come out and shared with the world that they are gay. Mothers

Mothers are truly remarkable. They do so much and expect nothing. The Family a Proclamation to The World says: "Mothers are primarily responsible for the nurture of their children." Mothers have a natural need to care and nurture children. Heavenly Father made woman loving, caring, patient, and so much more. These amazing qualities are what make mothers so great at what they do.  The country singer Luke Bryan wrote a song called "most people are good" in his song he says,  "And most mama's oughta qualify for sainthood" Isn't that the truth! Mothers are amazing. The first presidency statement in 1942 declared:  "Motherhood is near to divinity. It is the highest, holiest service to be assumed by mankind.
